Born in Mexico City, Alfredo Garcia is a lawyer graduated with honors from the prestigious Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City in 1997 and from the University of Ottawa with honors in 2012. With over 25 years of experience, he has practiced in various branches of law, both in the public and private sectors. He is one of the founding partners of the Semperlex firm, where he has been practicing since 2017.
The last 10 years of his career have been dedicated entirely to Canadian immigration and refugee law, with the majority of his clients being vulnerable individuals. He actively collaborates with various social organizations and women's protection agencies. He is a regular guest lecturer on immigration at Canadian universities. He is member of the board of AQAADI, and an active member of CARL, and APAAQ.
