Me Mariel Bailon est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en droit civil (LL.B.) de l’Université de Sherbrooke, obtenu en 2022. D’origine latino-américaine, elle a développé très tôt un intérêt marqué pour le droit de l’immigration, un domaine qui lui tient profondément à cœur.

Dès le début de son parcours universitaire, elle s’est engagée comme bénévole à la Clinique juridique du Grand Montréal, où elle a offert des consultations gratuites, notamment en droit de l’immigration. Cette expérience a renforcé sa volonté de soutenir les personnes immigrantes dans leur parcours d’établissement au Québec.

Assermentée en 2024, Me Bailon a amorcé sa pratique en droit de l’immigration économique. Elle a conservé toutefois un vif intérêt pour l’immigration humanitaire, un domaine qu’elle aspire à développer davantage au sein du cabinet Semperlex.

Offrir des services de qualité, fondés sur le professionnalisme et une approche humaine, est au cœur de sa pratique. Me Bailon accorde une attention particulière à l’écoute et à l’accompagnement personnalisé de chaque client, consciente des enjeux humains qui se trouvent derrière chaque démarche d’immigration. Me Mariel Bailon holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) from the University of Sherbrooke, obtained in 2022. Of Latin American origin, she developed from an early stage a strong interest in immigration law, a field that is deeply meaningful to her.

From the very beginning of her academic journey, she volunteered at the Clinique juridique du Grand Montréal, where she provided free legal consultations, particularly in immigration law. This experience strengthened her commitment to supporting immigrants in their settlement process in Quebec.

Called to the Bar in 2024, Me Bailon began her practice in the area of economic immigration law. However, she has maintained a strong interest in humanitarian immigration, a field she aspires to further develop within Semperlex.

Providing quality services based on professionalism and a human-centered approach lies at the core of her practice. Me Bailon places particular importance on attentive listening and personalized support for each client, fully aware of the human issues behind every immigration process. Motivated by a deep desire to promote access to justice, she also aims to actively contribute to the protection of the rights of immigrant women who are victims of violence, ensuring that they receive fair, respectful, and accessible legal assistance.

Me Mariel Bailon es licenciada en Derecho Civil (LL.B.) por la Universidad de Sherbrooke, título que obtuvo en 2022. De origen latinoamericano, desarrolló desde muy temprano un marcado interés por el derecho de inmigración, un ámbito que le resulta profundamente significativo.

Desde el inicio de su trayectoria universitaria, se comprometió como voluntaria en la Clínica Jurídica del Gran Montreal, donde brindó consultas gratuitas, en particular en materia de derecho de inmigración. Esta experiencia reforzó su voluntad de apoyar a las personas inmigrantes en su proceso de establecimiento en Quebec.

Juramentada en 2024, la Me Bailon inició su práctica en derecho de inmigración económica. Sin embargo, ha mantenido un gran interés por la inmigración humanitaria, un campo que aspira a desarrollar más ampliamente dentro del despacho Semperlex.
